 Sooraj Barjatya, according to certain news is in a mood to make sequel to his mega hit, Hum Aapke Hai Koun…?
HAHK, starring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit that screened on cinema halls for more than five years proved to one of the biggest hits of Bollywood. As it appears that Salman is already casted into the movie as he feels indebted to Rahshri production to give him first break as a star in Maine Pyaar Kiya and made him star overnight. HAHK sequel will also star the Vivah couple, Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. It is not clear whether Madhuri would act in a role offered to him. |

| Neetu Chandra may have worked with the likes of Akshay Kumar (GARAM MASALA), Madhur Bhandarkar (TRAFFIC SIGNAL) and Suneil Shetty (ONE TWO THREE) but she firmly believes that OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE is her biggest film till date. Laughs Neetu, “No, don’t look for any controversy here. The fact is that OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE is indeed quite big for me since it provides me a platform to hold the center stage for a large duration of the film. If you look at GARAM MASALA and ONE TWO THREE, both the films were successful but they had me as one of the 3 principal actresses. Also TRAFFIC SIGNAL was successful too but it was again an ensemble drama.”
She adds, “Comparatively, in OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE I am the sole heroine with Abhay Deol as my co-star. With UTV being the producers, Dibakar Bannerjee of KHOSLA KA GHOSLA fame as the director and Pareshji (Rawal) playing a major role in the film, it couldn’t get any better.”
Shedding light on the film’s subject, all Neetu is willing to divulge is that it is a delightful love story. “I can’t tell anything more than this at the moment but I can assure that you would see the brilliancy of Dibakar here as well, just as it was in the case of KHOSLA KA GHOSLA.”
Shot prominently in Delhi, a major portion of shooting has already been complete and the film is looking at a release in the second half of 2008. |

| Satish Kaushik had a pleasant surprise in store for him on April 13. The director was overwhelmed with joy when producer Bhushan Kumar and his wife Divya Khosla Kumar surprised him by throwing a surprise birthday bash for him on the sets of his mega-venture ‘Karzzzz’ at Cinevistaas Studios, Kanjunmarg .
The crew winded up the shooting early and the entire unit including producer Bhushan Kumar, creative director Divya Khosla Kumar, actors Himesh Reshammiya, Urmila Matondkar, Shweta Kumar, cinematographer Manoj Soni, and others had a ball of a time celebrating Satishji’s birthday. Urmila Matondkar looked hot in a red number as she matched graceful steps for a song with Himmesh Reshamiya, who stole glances from everyone in his new tresses, and without his trademark cap. |
