The year is going to be quite hectic for both Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan. They have signed movies in couple as well as in individual. If Abhishek has signed few movies in single, Aishwarya also has number of new assignments in her kitty.
The list goes as Aishwarya and Abhishek is going to star in Mani Ratnam’s path breaking movie Ravan. Next Aishwarya has another big budget movie of Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Hrithik Roshan opposite her. Bhansali desires to flaunt their chemistry threesome than Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar. Them coming up is Abhinay Deo’s thriller teaming Ash-Abhi to be produced by Excel Entertainment, “It will be a thriller movie and the entire shooting of the film will be in Thailand, Greece, London and Istanbul. Abhinay Deo and I want a particular look for the movie. We want something different in the film’s visual quality that people have never seen before”.
For the first time Aishwarya Rai will share screen space with Akshay Kumar who will play the lead role in the movie. Both Akshay Kumar and Vipul Shah will co produce the film.

People are eagerly awaiting the first release of Akshay Kumar in 2009.Hollywood’s action director Gordon Liu plays a key role in this film,which according to reports is partially based on Akki’s real life story.Akshay Kumar got to do some heady action sequences in the film, but the action hero said fighting with Chinese martial arts master Gordon Liu was the toughest part of the film.Mithun Chakraborty, who was appreciated for his role in Mani Ratnam’s Guru, has an important role in the film.Akshay plays a simple cook from Delhi who goes to China to try his luck there.

”Getting into the character was not difficult as I have been a cook in my real life, but shooting for the movie has been a difficult experience.”In a recent interview Akki said the basic idea behind the film was not a story, not an actual idea, but a poster.Chandni Chowk to China will be Deepika’s third outing after the super success of Om Shanti Om download dedication movie and Bachna Ae Haseeno.
This dusky beauty’s complexion had to be lightened by three shades to suit her Chinese look in the film.Deepika’s stylist said a lot of research went behind Deepika’s Chinese look in the film. Most often in Bollywood, stylists settle for cosmetic tapes at the end of each eye to give the Chinese look to actors, but Bhat says it wasn’t a feasible option because Deepika’s doctors had advised her against their use.

The model turned actor Gautam Rode is making a come back on the big screen. Gautam had previously acted in a flop flick titled Annarth in the lead role but after not having got any other film offer, stepped into the world of television. He came into limelight with his show Baa Bahu aur Baby on the small screen. This time he is making sure that all his efforts comes to some use and his hard work pays him. Gautam is doing a movie with non-other-then Ram Gopal Verma.
We asked Gautam about his sudden disappearance from television, “I am doing a movie with Ram Gopal Verma and I am very busy with that. I am working extra hard on this movie these days. I want to give this project my hundred percent.” When we asked Gautam to tell us more about his movie then Gautam refused and told us that he can’t say much about it now because it would be too early to talk about it. |
