The premier of “Victory” had all the support of the well wishers of Harman who yet has to come up from the setback from the failure of Love Story 2050. Hopefully, the crowd of well wishers would have good impact over on the result of the movie who attended the premier of the movie at Cinemax in Mumbai.
The premier was attended by Anu Malik, Ruslan, Gulshan Grover, Aman Verma, Arzu Govitrikar, Sameera Reddy, Madhur Bhandarkar, Jiah Khan, Arshad Warsi, Jitendra Tushar Kapoor, Shree Devi, Doni Kapoor, plus the cast, crew, and directors.
The real sight at the premier was presence of Harman Baweja’s ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra.

Ultimately, at Kodak theatre in Los Angles it turned out to be day for “SlumDog Millionaire” at 81st Oscar award ceremony, where the movie based on the plot of Mumbai, surrounded around a slum Boy’s tale of rising from rag to riches bagged eight Oscars out of 10 nominated categories.
“SlumDog Millionaire” won award as Anthony Dod Mantle for Best Cinematography, Simon Beaufoy for Best Writing & Screenplay, Resul Pookutty, Ian Tapp, Richard Pryke for best sound, Chris Dickens for Best Editing, AR Rahman for Best Original Score and Best Original Song. Movie also bagged award for Best Director given to Danny Boyle and The Best Picture award also retained by the movie.

Director Sanjay Gadhvi says his next movie Kidnap is much different from his previous action thrillers Dhoom and Dhoom 2 .According to the director, ‘Kidnap’ is high on emotions and drama compared to his flicks in the ‘Dhoom’ series.”It (Kidnap) may not be superslick and stylish like the ‘Dhoom’ films which were packaged entertainers.
This is a story about a man who has not seen his daughter for the last eight years and how he comes to save the 18 year old who has been kidnapped out of revenge. There is more of emotions and drama unlike the ‘Dhoom’ movies,” Gadhvi told a news agency.
The movie stars Imran Khan as the kidnapper. Minissha Lamba plays the 18-year-old daughter of Sanjay Dutt .
‘Kidnap’ also marks Gadhvi’s departure from Yashraj Films , the banner for which he made three flicks before parting ways.
“I first directed Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai , a romantic comedy for the banner and due to its success I was assigned to do two more films. The contract has ended and so I moved out,” Gadhvi is quoted as saying.
Gadhvi added that if he had stayed with the banner he might have had to co-produce his fourth film.
“This is one of the reasons I left Yashraj because after my three-film contract ended, I would have had to become a producer and co-produce my next film with the banner. I want to sleep well. I would like to continue being a director only,” says the young filmmaker.
However, Gadhvi does not rule out working with the banner once again.
Meanwhile, ‘Kidnap’ is set to hit the theatres on October 2. It faces competition from the Abhishek Bachchan starrer Drona .
